Biography

Laura’s acting experience encompasses theater, film, and commercial projects. Most recently, Laura played Jessie in White Horse Theater’s production of Marsha Norman’s ‘night, Mother and the lead role of Ramona in Hadrian’s Wall, presented in the NYC Fringe.  Laura has been an active member of the Oberon Theatre Ensemble since 1997, acting in Alex Dinelaris’ American Rapture as Lawyer and Amanda on her last outing with the company.  Also with Oberon, Laura has played Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Masha in The Three Sisters, Goneril in King Lear, and the title role in Phaedre, among others.  Other favorite roles include Miriam in In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel (White Horse Theater Company), and Kirsten Clay in Days of Wine and Roses (Boomerang Theatre Company).

In New York, Laura studied with Tim Phillips and Robert Castle, and also took classes at HB Studios, School for Film and Television, and the Actors Movement Studio. Before moving to New York, Laura lived, played, and went to school in various parts of Southern New England. She is a graduate of Yale University. Member: AEA, SAG-AFTRA.
